In these environmentally friendly times there is no better way of reducing your carbon footprint and helping to reduce deforestation than restoring your old furniture. Just think how many trees that are cut down in Australia or in precious rain forests around the world to make brand new furniture. And when a new piece of furniture comes from overseas, there is always so much wasted packaging!

Your old furniture is usually made from superior timber and has also been constructed to a higher standard, Which makes it longer lasting and of more value. So could easily be restored or even changed colour and with new handles it can even give a new modern contemporary look.

Even in our workshop we are conscious about the environment, by recycling when we can. Trying to use low VOC finishes from shellac which is organic to low VOC polyurethanes and even having solar power and LED lighting.
